Samhain Quarter Evocations
by
Arron McGuffey, High Priest
Air: We call upon the watchtower of Air. Blowing winds howling at the waxing moonlight. Echoing children’s laughter on all Hallows Night. In peace and in power, to guard and to protect, we call forth this tower, in honor and in respect. So mote it be.
Fire: We call upon the watchtower of fire. Your light dances through shining jack o’ lantern eyes. Protecting all children with benevolent guise. In peace and in power, to guard and to protect, we call forth this tower, in honor and in respect. So mote it be.
Water: We call upon the watchtower of Water. Your eerie silence reflecting the shadows of the moon. Waves rushing to shore playing a harmonic tune. In peace and in power, to guard and to protect, we call forth this tower, in honor and in respect. So mote it be.
Earth: We call upon the watchtower of Earth. In darkness, silhouettes of barren trees form imaginary creatures in the mind. A great oak and a delicate ivy intertwined. In peace and in power, to guard and to protect, we call forth this tower, in honor and in respect. So mote it be.
By air, by fire, by water, and earth combined. A magick circle is the boundary defined. Bound together with void and Spirit entwined. Represented with a five-pointed star at each point confined. Creating a pentacle as the Gods designed.
Air: From the depths of our heart, we ask you now to depart. We dismiss this tower, in Peace and in Power.
Fire: From the depths of our heart, we ask you now to depart. We dismiss this tower, in Peace and in Power.
Water: From the depths of our heart, we ask you now to depart. We dismiss this tower, in Peace and in Power.
Earth: From the depths of our heart, we ask you now to depart. We dismiss this tower, in Peace and in Power.
