Aspects of Remembering
by
Arron McGuffey, High Priest
Air
From a gentle breeze to a gale. I summon you the voice of the wind, I give thee hail. Whisper your forgotten secrets of old. Tell us of things from centuries old.
Fire
From spark, to flame, and then to fire. I summon you to rise forth from this pyre. Dance lightly and playfully show us what we desire. Light the path to the past, bring forth to us what we shall ask.
Water
From drop to rain to stream which gives way to ocean. I summon you the waves of unrelentless motion. In your reflection we ask that you show depths unseen of things of old. By moonlight we call you this night; bring back memories. Give me sight.
Earth
From grain, to sand, to mountains high. I summon you o' land hear our cry. Paint a picture with desert and flower. Show us the mysteries with your power.
Spirit
Water and blood, wood and bone. Air and breath, fire and soul. Athame and cup, wand and bowl. Forever connected, never apart. In mind, in body, in spirit, and in heart.
